Common questions
Can I get deleted photos back?
Yes. LemonClear deletes through the system Photos flow, so everything lands in Recently Deleted and stays there for 30 days. Clear freely — you can change your mind.
Why are some photos missing?
Usually the Photos permission is set to "Selected Photos", or the photos are in the Hidden album. Go to Settings → Photos → Allow Access → All Photos.
Photos won't load — just a spinner.
Update to 1.4.1 or later; this was a bug and it's fixed.
If your library is large and Optimise iPhone Storage is on, the full-size originals live in iCloud and only a smaller copy is kept on the device. Older versions asked for the wrong one and showed nothing at all. Now whatever is on the device appears immediately, and if a photo has nothing local left, the app says "This photo is only in iCloud" and offers to fetch just that one — or you can swipe it away without downloading anything.
New phone, or reinstalled — do I pay again?
No. The unlock is tied to your Apple ID. Sign in with the same one, open Settings → Restore Purchase, and it takes a few seconds. If it doesn't restore, email me your App Store receipt and I'll sort it out.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, though Apple handles refunds, not me. Sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, find the purchase and request one. If you'd tell me what went wrong first, there's a good chance I can fix it.
Photos I kept don't show up again. Why?
On purpose — once you've decided about a photo, LemonClear doesn't ask twice. If you want to go through everything again, Settings → Reset Review History clears that record. Your photos aren't touched.
What's the difference between free and paid?
Free to download and start clearing. After a while, one purchase unlocks everything — no subscription, no monthly fee.
Which devices?
iPhone on iOS 17 or later. It runs on iPad too.
Does it touch my iCloud?
Deleting works exactly as it does in the Photos app, so it syncs to iCloud the same way your own deletions do. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is downloaded in the background — only if you tap Download on a specific photo.
